The cost of building a custom home varies significantly depending on the size of the home, the complexity of the lot, and the level of finishes selected. Every project is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all answer. During our planning phase, we work closely with homeowners to develop a transparent budget that aligns with their design goals and priorities. If you’d like a personalized estimate, we’re happy to walk you through what to expect.
A typical semi-custom home takes approximately 8–12 months once construction begins, while fully custom homes may take 12–18 months depending on the design and site conditions. The design and permitting phase usually takes an additional 2–3 months.
Yes. Many of our clients already own their lot before starting the building process. We're happy to review the property, discuss site considerations, and help determine how the home design can best fit the lot.
At SSC Homes, our goal is to provide a complete and transparent starting point when pricing a home. Many builders advertise a low base price and then add significant costs through upgrades during construction. Our homes include many features that other builders consider upgrades, helping ensure the home you design is the home that gets built.
